Shifitng Sands
This is the work I am currently doing. It is essentially a research project and I am “sea-watching” – observing the way the water changes the sand, the composition of the sand, the movement of the sand, the marks left behind by the sea.

Revisiting some old studies
Crows have colonised the gardens behind my house. They are very strong featured birds and make great drawing subjects. It is also interesting to watch how they moved in – they had a territory war with the incumbent magpies who lost the ground to the crows.
