Kathy Herbert in Conversation with Cathy Fitzgerald about House Trees, at deAppendix.
This is an exhibition of my own work and the work of Dorothy Smith. We will both we drawing in the gallery and we welcome members of the public to join us for a chat. We will also have a panel discussion chaired by Dr Silvia Loeffler on Wednesday 16th October.
Crows have colonised the gardens behind my house. They are very strong featured birds and make great drawing subjects. It is also interesting to watch how they moved in – they had a territory war with the incumbent magpies who lost the ground to the crows.
This work extends the idea of sharing space. It is a wall drawing, made for exhibition at DeAppendix.
