This work is a simple idea, intended to focus the viewer’s attention upwards, into the crowns of the trees. The form is of a lattice, a wire web, which is suspended between four trees.
PROCESS
I have made these videos as a response to the rhythms and long processes of the Earth: the ebbing and flowing of the sea; the formation of rock. We are ever present in these processes and our actions become part of them.
In this work I focus specifically on trees. I walk around them, drive past them, talk about them, draw them, photograph them…
